Flu Clinic 2014 (Primary Care Clients)
We strongly recommend that ALL Primary Care clients aged 6 months and over get flu shots. We particularly recommend it for higher risk Primary Care clients including patients 6 months to 5 years, patients 65 years or older, pregnant women and those clients with chronic diseases such as heart disease, asthma or other lung disease, diabetes, kidney disease and cancer.
As in previous years, we will be offering Flu Clinics when clients can come to the Centre without an appointment to get a flu shot. Please see the dates and times below. If you have an appointment in November or early December, we will offer you the flu shot during your visit.
You can also get a flu shot from the City of Ottawa Public Health clinics or at many pharmacies in the city. To get information about public flu shot clinics please call 311, the information service for City of Ottawa, or check their website at http://ottawa.ca/en/residents/public-health/flu-clinics The flu season is upon us. Our registered primary care clients are invited to come to our Centre for their seasonal flu vaccine.
