Story Stroll

Join us each week (rain or shine) for a walk and a story time adventure! Families are asked to bring their children in strollers or wagons so they can safely focus on the story and the scenery. We will share a story and a song along the way. Then we will send you home with a craft to do!
Adults will be asked to wear their masks and maintain social distancing.
Two sessions are offered:
Session 1: September 21, 28, October 5
Session 2: October 12, 19, 26.
We will meet in front of the Centre.
Registration is required and late additions are welcome.

Walk to Quit/ Walk to Thrive

A group to help people quit smoking OR work on another health goal and get in shape by regular walking. Get support and build up your stamina. Walking takes the edge off of cravings and gives you a positive outlet for stress. Being with others in the group helps you stick to your goals.
This group will meet in person, outdoors (at a social distance) outside the National Gallery of Canada, 380 Sussex.

Getting Help With Technology for Older Adults

Two sessions are offered:
September 28 at 4:30 pm: Come get help with Technology: learn to troubleshoot, search for the right information, and get help online when you’re stuck
October 26 at 4:30 pm: Learn how to recognize phishing scams and get tips on how to stay safe online.

Online Exercise Classes

Offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-2 p.m. The classes are led by Alex, a registered kinesiologist. No equipment is required but light dumbbells and/or resistance bands are helpful.
