Snow Moles Information Session

Would you like to be a snow mole? Snow Moles are volunteers who report on what it’s like to walk outside on a winter day in Ottawa. The information they gather will be used to make our sidewalks more walk-able! Anyone can be a snow mole, we are particularly looking for seniors & families. Find out more at this info session.

Grow your own Sprouts/Microgreens

Are you looking for a fun activity to do this winter? Do you need some boost to your physical and mental health?
Join this virtual workshop to learn how you can grow affordable and fresh organic sprouts and microgreens at home in less than two weeks.
It is a fun workshop for adults and children who live in Centretown and are interested in growing their own super food. Each participant will receive a package prior to the workshop. For participants who live outside of Centretown, they have to pick up the packages from CCHC.

Family Fun with food

A monthly cooking program for families with children between the ages of 2 and 6 years old. It will introduce children to the joys of cooking and eating well. Each session will involve preparing fun recipes and a short lesson for   parents and kids.

Overcoming Anxiety and Depression
