Request for Proposal (RFP): Accessible Vehicle Purchase for Alternative Neighbourhood Crisis Response (ANCHOR) project

The Alternative Neighbourhood Crisis Response (ANCHOR) Project is a critical initiative within CCHC. This project includes an alternate call intake, triage, and dispatch system for mental health and substance use calls, providing an option to residents seeking mental health and substance use crisis support to call a non-911 number directly. The response team consists of community-based, civilian-led, multi-disciplinary, and mobile crisis response teams that offer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, trauma-informed, and culturally appropriate crisis response services in Centretown.

The ANCHOR program requires a new vehicle that ensures accessibility for all users, particularly those with mobility impairments. The vehicle must include a rear-entry ramp and other necessary accessibility features. Additionally, a robust maintenance and repair plan is critical to ensure the vehicle's longevity and reliability.

RFP closes Monday, July 15, 2024.
