About the Program
A social drop-in for LGBTQIA+ Newcomers - Not accepting new clients right now

Additional Details
The LGBTQIA+ Newcomer Drop-in is a social support group that is designed to make connections in a positive, inclusive space, through community engaging and arts based programming. The drop-in welcomes newcomers who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and identify as being racialized. The group facilitator helps participants find immigration and community health support.
If you are contacting us to request to register for the LGBTQIA+ Newcomer Group, we unfortunately reached our capacity for year 2024.
We will look into re-opening our wait list again next January 2025. you can try to contact us then.
Please note that we won't make any exceptions as we reached a cirtical high number of clients and it will be irresponsible for us to take anymore clients with the little capacity we have as a program.
We understand this is hard to hear for newcomers LGBTQIA+ folks looking for a safer space and guidance in a new city and a new country, we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause, we are facing systemic barriers related to funding and human resources that has an impact on our capacity to operate and continue accepting clients.
