Confidential, specialized bilingual program for men and women 55+ who live anywhere in Ottawa. Counsellors offer visits to the home, in the community or at CCHC. Support groups and therapeutic recreational outings and events offered. Family consultations are available. Services are free.

Betting on Older Adults: A Problem Gambling Prevention Video and Clinical Manual for Service Providers working with older adults. Addresses concerns on the impact of gambling on adults 55+. Downloadable resources available. Developed jointly by L.E.S.A. (Lifestyle Enrichment for Senior Adults) Program at Centretown CHC in Ottawa; the Sister Margaret Smith Centre in Thunder Bay; and the Sault Area Hospital Addictions Program. Funded by The Mental Health and Addictions Branch (Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care).
