About the Program
LESA (Lifestyle Enrichment for Senior Adults) is a psychotherapy service to support people aged 55+ who are concerned about substance use, or problem gambling.

Who do we serve?
We work with adults aged 55+ who wish to make changes to their substance use or problem gambling. Our catchment area is the City of Ottawa.
Our services are free of charge and a physician referral is not required.
Where are we based?
The LESA team is part of Centretown Community Health Centre. Our office is located at 420 Cooper Street Ottawa. We also have a satellite office at The Good Companion’s Senior Centre at 670 Albert Street Ottawa. Both centres have free parking availability.
What do we offer?
Individual sessions: individual addictions counselling and psychotherapy with Registered Psychotherapists and Social Workers.
Group programming: intermittent seasonal group programming to support clients through psychoeducation and group work.
What is the referral process?
For individual sessions : contact lesa@centretownchc.org or on 613-696-4809. We will conduct a telephone screening and an in person intake before assigning a therapist, where appropriate.
